The Portugal Ceramics website is an initiative from APICER, supported by the program Compete 2020, within the SIAC project n. 47238.

This project combines support for the companies presence in the main international fairs of the industry with a diverse range of international promotion and marketing actions, involving the sub-sector of Floor & Wall Tiles and Utilitarian & Decorative Ceramics.
The project aims to deepen the world’s understanding of Portuguese ceramics’ value and uniqueness.

The activation plan is made of three main categories:

1.     Fairs and Exhibitions: Fairs and exhibitions are part of the traditional international promotion actions of the cluster and keep being essential, despite the increasing importance of digital means. These events have a decisive importance for trade by offering a unique opportunity to contact many new potential clients. These events are also a privileged opportunity to renew and deepen with people who are already clients.

2.     Business Missions: Business Missions are initiatives mainly directed to markets or market segments in which Portuguese Ceramics wants a relevant position, aiming to provide more direct contact with selected key players. The action plan includes two direct missions in the European market. These missions will bring interior design and architecture journalists to Portugal and their specialized publications about architecture and ceramics.

3.     Brand Communication: The aim here is to promote the companies’ communication to the same level of sophistication that characterizes an institutional campaign, under the motto and positioning of “The Art of Possibility.” And also promote the actions of the Portuguese Ceramics companies and achievements on a digital basis.
